What to expect in Dunfermline

Dunfermline is a city of unexpected contrasts found just a short trip north of Edinburgh – where royal grandeur meets lively streets, hidden tales lead to leafy escapes, and centuries of history sit alongside a fresh, creative energy. Once the seat of Scottish kings, today it’s a city to explore and uncover at your own pace. Follow your curiosity and wander a little further – you never know what you might uncover.

When I heard of paradise, I translated the word into Pittencrieff Glen, believing it to be as near to paradise as anything I could think of.
